Default 08 400EX seat .......

08 was the 1st year they widened the seat toward the back, anyone know if it would fit (bolt right on) an 05 and contour to the rear fender perfect?

I would try and find one and measure it just to be on the safe side. Sorry I couldnt be of more help

They won't fit, I checked out one at a shop now, the fender mold is quite different so even if it would still bolt on it just would not look right.

Your from the east mud 99, where a bouts ?

Somewhere muddy I presume?

Mud is from North Carolina.
Yea the seat also mounts different. It is removable without pulling of the rear fenders with it.
You could always order all new plastics from a new model to get the seat to work.

yea you could but not at least you and I because we don't like those fenders

Now I would not let that stop me from buying one if I got a fantasic deal on a used one though, their not THAT bad.
