Default Key placement

I put aftrmarket handle bars on my quad sometime ago, I made a plate to put my indicator lights on and mounted it under the hood. They can be seen. Where should I mount my key that is a safe not to ugly my quad up and easy to get too??????????????

This isn't a 400 but the plastics are damn near the same. This is where my friends mount theirs. Did you get the bars with the upper cross bar or do you not have the mounting tab on the new bars and that is why you are moving it?
I put a big white dot where is a good spot.

Thats where i located my key when i stripped all the unnessary stuf off the bars, good spot have not had any problems in that location.

I made a place in the little plate that was for my lights. I had someone make it for me. It was pretty awesome.

I was going to put mine under the hood in front next to the light so I don't have to see it or put a hole in my plastic. I guess I wll do it now and let you know.

Thanks I first ziptied my key under the hood of the brake line but it looked junky so I moved it under the plastic but it looked bad there so I moved it back I will probly cut a hole on the left side and mount it there.
