The stator runs in oil - engine oil - if the stuff was grey and gooey, it is oil mixed with water. You need to run it and do frequent oil changes till you get rid of all the water. Heat will evaporate some and oil will trap some by emulsification. Change the oil while hot after every ride till it comes out clear (no milkiness). Shouldn't take too many changes. Good luck.

I have it all dried and running nicely. I have replaced many small parts that showed signs of no love. The front wheels are bent and I cant find any replacements. Are there any other models that use this bolt pattern? And what Are the dimensions? I just want straight, cheap wheels...
