2008 honda trx 450er
quad turns over very hard just had batterie checked, and took starter out and turns over fine. Put back in and same thing. Turns over like compression is high but motor is stock. Any help would be awesome.

The starter could be bad. It may spin easy without and resistance against it. Check the wiring also for any damage.
