Default rear carrier wont stay tight

I have an 06 trx400ex and the left hand drive jam nut will not stay tight.... is this a common problem?

If you are talking about the axle nut. Yes! They need to be monitored constantly.
LSR makes a great set up tp replace the nut and will fix all your problems. It is alittle $$$ but worth it!

If the bearings are wore out in the rear this will cause it to loosen up also.

very common problem, i race XC and what i do and alot of others is tighten the nut, spray it with carb cleaner so its not greasy, and wrap it tightly with electrical tape.....it will not move trust me, then if the axle comes loose after a ride its the bearings
