Rear wheel spins when you push throttle

I have a 1985 Honda 125TRX that runs great. Brought it home and rode it 20 miles with no problems. My kids rode it for awhile and then all of a sudden the left rear wheel spins a hole in the ground and has trouble pulling itself.. Any ideas?

Sounds like the front breaks have stuck or a wheel bearing has locked up.
