Welcome to the Family!
What type of input are you looking for?
I would suggest a new piston and a bigger cam. I don't like high compressin because of the requirement of race fuels.

www.motosport.com has some complete engine kits at decent prices.
We also have a supporting vendor called www.kbmotorsportsonline.com

I would also go with a new exhaust set up, rejet the carb, and a good high flow air filter also. 69Quadracer has one nasty 450 and he would be the one with great advice on this.
