Honda valve troubles
Bought and old TRX 125 from a friend (who has no mechanical knowladge) for 100$ not running. It would try to start and die. When he last ran it it kept shutting off and when it was parked it shot out a backfire and a blue flame. With some othef evidence I have determined that the valve was not seating properly and eventually broke and part(s) of it got somewhere in the engine because I can turn over the pull start cup thee times and it jams on the fourth in either direction, so it cannot reach top dead center. Today I am ripping out fhe engine and tearing it down to check it out and will get pics of the aftermath. If the bore and piston are not damaged I will clean it up and replace the exhaust valve. The engine was rebuilt by a car mechanic and has about 100-200 miles on the rebuild
