2008 400ex smoking

Hi guys, i have a new 2008 400ex i have about 50 hours on it. This past weekend my buddy noticed that when i really got in to it and let off quick it would puff some smoke, not a ton but enough to see it. seems to run fine but would like to fix. any ideas what would do this? thanks mike

What color was the smoke. I'm thinking its a rich condition caused by what your doing. when you punch it the accelerator pump squirts extra fuel into the carb, if you punch it then let off right away, all the fuel isn't used and causes a short rich condition and a little black smoke.

Personally, to me, doesn't sound like something I would worry about. Its pretty common believe it or not.
