Tail/Break light

I've got a trx300ex, getting ready for a trail ride and need break light functionality. Am I correct in assuming that this model (93) only came with the tail light? Repair manual only talks about it being a tail light. Has anyone added a break switch inline so it is functional as both tail and break light?

Never done it! Check Ebay for the parts you need from a newer quad. It should be easy with products from the same quad.

Its not that hard of a up grade but you will need to be able to run the wiring from the handle bars and foot break to the light. and you may have to change the rear light also to hold a double element bulb instead of a single.

I don't see anything to runt he wires to however? Seems to be no switches or the like?

You will have to buy the switches and the wiring to make it work. You will need a new break leaver on the handle bars that has the switch in it and it may be the same for the foot break as well.

I agree^^^. I was looking at mine and it doesn't have a break switch. I guess I just had a park light LOL

took my taillight off for my dune trip last weekend(good thing to) Why put it back on? Whats the good reasons for putting it back on?Do i need if for something i just cant think of right now?
