Default timing chain tensioner

hi there i just bought a new heavy duty timing chain for my 2004 trx400ex when i pulled the tensioner off it was fine i was wondering if it would be ok if i didnt change it when i put the new heavy duty timing chain in? i only plan on ridding 1 or 2 more times before i put it down to have some head work done and help would be great !!!! thank u

If it was fine when you took it apart, by all means - reuse it.
