trouble with start button
Hi- having trouble starting my trx- press the button and it turns over, but hell of a time getting it going unless you release the button "just right"-
any suggestions?

My start button just recently was acting weird. Bust bet is to replace the whole assembly.

Sounds like a button issue. Not real sure never had the problem.

How old is your quad? have you had the valve clearance checked? I had simular problems with mine the motor would spin and spin but was really hard to start would have to barely hold the throttle open and i mean barely. checked valves and could not get a .001 between cam lobe and lifter buckets just a thought. had to re shim to get right clearance starts great now. And welcome to the Honda TRX ATV forum.
