hello all. I just bought a 2001 TRX400EX project (the timing chain broke). I haven't rode since 2001ish when I sold my last quad (a 440ex). Prior to that I had 250Rs or Quadracer 250s. I just plan on using this one for light duty riding. It's a 440 12.5:1 enginge but I ordered an 11.1:1 piston kit, a used head, gasket kit, and a new timing chain. the body is decent with no major stiches and the bearings/bushings are all tight. I ordered a swingarm pivot kit too since I had to remove it to get the engine out. for $44 I dont want to have to do it again anytime soon lol.
