Default hey from Moab

Hello to all here, seems like a great site for info for my ride. I acquired a 1986 trx200sx from my son, who was basically letting it sit. I found out real quick it needed some tlc and new rear tires. I scored some Kenda Bearclaw 299 for the rears. Well today I got to test them out in a wash out during some pretty good rains we have been getting.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes they are huge, but they rock, and mud, and sand, uh well, yeah they rock hard. I went out again today as it rained most of the night and off and on today. What a blast I had, except this time I wore some long pants. I climbed some steep rocky stuff today and the tires really hooked up good. Good ride for sure.

Welcome welcome fellow Utahn! KSL said we're looking at some more rain the next couple of days, so hope you didn't wash it too good. We have that same bike in pieces in our side yard, and actually put the motor in a baja go-kart/buggy for the kids. We just sold it yesterday and boy, was it fun! We have a blue seat, frame, foot pegs and gas tank if you need it... You know, if happen to find any rocks in all that mud!

Hey there superg, thanks for the welcome! It is good to see someone from Utah on this forum. Seems like we are going to get quite a lot of reasons to ride in the next week or so with all the rain in the forecast. Very cool about making a baja out of your 200 motor, would love to see pics of it as my son and I have been building a mini sand rail using the frankenstein method and it really is turning out good.
As far as your extra parts, hmmm, maybe. Peace, Mike.
