Default Howdy ya'll!

Just wanted to introduce myself to my fellow riders, and see what's poppin'! I just recently got my trx ( upgrading from my 660 rap) and I'm already off to a bad start. WHAT THE HELL is the deal with these one way bearings on the starter? Of coarse it started 2 weeks after I bought it. Is it a pain to do? And where is the oil filter? So many questions to ask on this thing. Anyone got some tech info for me? I was born with a wrench in my hand so you won't be waisting your time. Any info would help

the one way clutch has gone bad not a hard fix, the oil filter is on the left sideabove the site glass has 2 8mm bolts holding it in, be sure not to put the filter in wrong or you will burn up the motor.

Apreciated! I was working on it today on suspension set-up and was checkin it out. These Are pretty nice quads! I checked out the repair procedure on that starter bearing and it didn't look to bad, but ya gotta admit, that set up is a little dramatic. I can see eliminating rotational mass not having a flywheel but it stands to reason that the more mechanical parts you put in any system the better chance you have of it failing! Thank you for getting back to me. Happy trails........ And big ass jumps!

Good lookin machine dude. I like the stance, what springs you running? I was pondering today how to lower mine a bit. I'd post pics but my pc is down and this I phone won't let me upload. Nothin fancy, power up kit, jetted, piped, the basic stuff. I just picked it up a week ago and am just now getting into the performance mods and suspension alterations. These sit pretty stiff. I was hoping it would be real plush like a wide stance but am now getting ready to swap it all out or atleast change the springs. What do you think about those hub extensions? I read a reveiw and it said that it didn't effect the axle or hubs but also said they made that statement after only ONE DAY of riding. What do ya think?

The front tires are 20"x6"x10" and the rear are 18"x10"x8" typical Mx set up, even in stock form the fronts are 21" and rear are 20" makes them cornor and handle better for Mx

Yeah man, I don't know who posted the tire question but it I wasn't me. Good rookie question though. Back in the day with three wheelers they were just figuring that out. I remember hitting sand holes on my 200s and wondering why I couldn't avoid that tree in front of me
