400 ex no fire at coil

Trying to find out what wires go were the wires were cut and no key switch thanks to anyone who helps

Pretty simple - connect the red and black wires to run it. When done - disconnect the red and black wires then connect the green to black/white wire to kill it. I repeat (in a different context) - disconnect the green and black/white wires then connect the black to red to get it going again.

So why no fire at coil I used a test light no power coming out of coil the people I bot it from did a job on it cutting wires

Take it to a mechanic - you cannot test the ignition with a test light. Hope you got it cheap.
