EXCELLENT....I had one last year.mine was red.talk about a work horse.ton's of torque.not bad top speed either.i would still have it.but my 5 yr old was ready to start riding.so i sold it to get him a Raptor 50.what a mistake.he's getting a TRX250 Recon as soon as i sell that 50cc rat turd.and..WELCOME TO THE BEST HONDA FORUM ON THE NET!!

hAVE YOU HAD ALOT OF PROBLEMS OUT OF THE rAPTOR. Its a shame Honda does not offer anything but a 90

It's just really slow.i have done everything to get that thing up and moving.rejetted carb.GYTR short slide.modified throttle.AMR stage 2 rev box.UNI Filter HMF slip on.it did get fast enough that i had to put 3 inch wheel spacer's on it.but....it's like driving a car around town with 572 rear gears and and the trany stuck in 3rd.and it has literally no torque at all.i put my son on a TRX90X at the honda shop the other day.there's really not alot of difference in the size of it and the recon 250.the recon just sits higher.and has a wider wheel base.im thinking long term.his riding skills were above a 50cc in no time.he couldent touch the pegs on my 420.but he could ride it no problem.the recon im looking at is electric shift.so him or the wife either one can ride it.
