2013 honda trx450r

Honda recently discontinued the production of their TRX450R racing quad for 2010 since they need to finish selling all the 2009 models. Many are predicting that Honda is working on a all new high performance 450 that will blow away the previous models. I would hope the Honda directly uses a CRF450R engine staight out of their latest dirtbike, then they would have one of the fastest production 450s. I also hope that Honda makes their 450 wider for more stability, improves suspension for a smoother ride, adds a steering stabilizer similar to the ones found on their race dirtbikes to improve handling, and adds fuel injection to give it a qick and crisp throttle response. What do you think the future TRX450R will be like?

Hpefully like you said. I will not purchase one but would like to see them back in the spotlight.

Have hear that Honda has had the new model for the past 1yr and a half they are waiting till all or most of the previous models to be soldhearg they have a differant look but this is just heresay on another forum but this guy has been right on the other models he has posted about, they won't be any wider and its not the CRF450R motor has KYB shocks no stablizer this is what i here.

They will be back for 2011. That what they said at the Honda shop today. No sport quads made in 2010

Sounds intersesting. From what Ive read in dirtwheels, dirtrider, etc. honda is looking at producing a 450r with fourwheel drive in or around 2013. Sounds pretty sick to me, probably my next quad

The TRX 450r with 4 wheel drive is still just a concept quad, thats what was pictured in Dirt Wheels, under concept quads. Other great quads featured were: Banshee 500 4 stroke, and the Honda 250 with the CRF250r engine.

For the 700 fans, there was also a 750ex featured in the expose, I would like to see the V twin in there, but the three cyl. 750cc 4 stroke ,105 horse, liquid cooled, fuel injected, turbo charged,11 in. of travel, would be a Raptor killer I think, lets see if that ever gets off the pages of dirt wheels, and into the show room of our local dealers.

Well the 2012 400ex is here all thougth I hope that the would not go to fuel injection due to the fact that in cost more to work on but the crf motor would be nice even no if u put the cam out of a crf 450r same moled year as your trx it dose give it more power

Lots of rumors have been floating around for years on the new TRX450R but today I seen a link to a new frame design including patent rights on it. This is the only rumor or suspicion that I believed so far. Without a doubt it will be fuel injected. The frame blueprints I seen were for a aluminum frame and it was very narrow in the front for a narrow frame/long a-arm design like a KFX. Honda really needs an upgrade and I hope a new one comes out soon!
