Can you adjust 400ex shocks and are 450r shocks worth the money for the 400ex.

Front shocks have preload adjustment only (step collar at bottom of spring. Rear shock has preload adjustment (spanner rings at top of the spring) and compression and rebound adjustments. Read the owners manual for adjustment proceedures and recommendations.

If you pay no more than 200 dollars for the 450r shocks they are a decent upgrade. Don't get crazy with it. You can buy an after mrket set up for a fair price off of ebay.
