Default TRX Alignment

Hi all,
I have a bent front right tie rod end and want to replace it. Should I just count the threads that are showing under the eyes or is there actually a way to align the front end? Thanks in advance.

if the wheels are not bent - measure between the rim edge in front and in back. The approximate toe-in should be about 1/8 inch. i.e. If the distance between the rear of the front rims is 48 inches, then the distance between the front of the rims should be 47 and 7/8.
