muffler needed for a 85 honda trx 250... Please help!!
I am in need of a new muffler for a 85 honda trx 250 and I am having trouble finding one. I can find one on ebay for a very high cost but was wondering if another make or model would work. I would like to keep the machine as quiet as possible and worry about putting on an after market part. Has anyone used another years muffler for this machine? the headers on this exhaust are good my muffler just has several big holes. Or would anyone gave one for sale our know where I could go to buy one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks for your time!!

Well I don't know eBay is usually best parts source for old hondas because a lot of old parts are discontinued may look at the old 300 fourtrax muffler it may work or a 200 TRX or 200sx I know the 84trx 200 was a similar looking bike may be able to find one of those and have your mounts welded on if your muffler core is good and the holes are just on the body of the muffler maybe you could have yours patched up an aftermarket will be louder than stock probably but a new Honda muffler would be a cpl hundred or more if it was even available

Will an 86 trx 125 muffler work on an 85 trx 250?
Could it cause any other engine problems if I tried it?

ive been bought a nwe muffler at jcw but my dad gave me one.. i have a spare at the garage if you want it give me a bip. thanks.
