Default got another one

Well I traded my beloved blaster for a stock 300ex 1996 model this week. Overall its in good shape but does need some tlc.

Today I put a uni filter in the airbox and put those filter holes in the lid. Wired up the headlight, which is all busted up but still works, changed the oil and filter. Rejetted it to a 132 main jet, which is kinda high right now but will be good for future mods.

Needs:
new chain
new muffler, gonna get a cobra kit probably.
tail light
new rear tires

I like it. The electric start is nice. Now I'm wishing the 250x had an electric start. Kicking a 12:1 piston without compression release isnt fun sometimes.

Stay away from the Cobra exhaust... no power gains, just obnoxiuosly loud.

If you want the best exhaust, I would get a Sparks Racing complete system. They look cool, sound awsome, and add more power than any other exhaust. They are very expensive at $450, but they are also well worth the money.
