95 trx 300 electrical issue
ok guys need some help here...battery was dead this morning kicked started bike went for run got almost home it died no power ran extension cord out to it hooked charger up and charger fried starting putting out too much power and now I have no neutral light no power to nothing...what could of happened? blown fuse I checked the 2 beside battery seem ok?....before it died it seemed to die periodicly because of not enough power to run just the bike any ideas would be very helpfull thanks.

The 300 should run just fine with or without a charged battery. I would check all the wiring for broke or grounded wires. You could have stater issues. If you dont already have one I would get a good Honda repair manual. Welcome to the forums.

thanks for the help...the starter is brand new my battery is stone dead so I hook battery charger to it and it hardly turns over solenoid b bad? I even tried hooking boost right to starter still hardly turns over...took the starter gears out all look good. thanks for the help glad to be part of the forrum.

Any chance the leads were reversed? Positive/Negative at the battery or when it was put on charge? Did u put it on charge while it was still connected in the bike?
