cooling fan on my trx 350?

I was checking things over and noticed that my cooling fan doesn't seem to run. I disconnected it and ran it direct to a 12 volt source, and it still does nothing, should it? Just dont want to burn it up. thanks

If you directly connected it, it should come on.

You may need a new fan.

Make sure you run a power wire and a ground wire to it when you test it, because one of the wires could be bad. I don't know if the fan grounds to the frame through the bolts or if it has rubber bushings that insulate it from the frame.
