hey,
im looking for a honda trx 300ex or something around there

any year from 1996-2003.

price range from 800-1000$

I wish I could help. I seen a 2007 300ex at the track the other day. It had alot of mods and they only wanted 5500 dollars for it. I know that sounds like alot but it was tricked out.

I like the 2strokes. they are relatively easy and cheap to rebuild too. What year you plan on getting. Try to get a newer one because they have a better brake setup than the old ones. The old ones have mechanical drum brakes on the front and a mechanical rear disc. difficult to adjust. the newer ones have disc all the way around. I think they are hydralic but not sure. Plus I think they look better but I am not sure on the years they done these things.

check the brakes on it and see if they are discs or drums. check if they are hydralic too.
