Jetting in Colorado

I know that there is a million different threads on this. However each set up is different. When I purchased my quad I was in TN and now I reside in Colorado. My quad seized up on me since I have been here. I have since rebuilt it and now I am in need of information on jetting for my altitude. I am running a 02 400ex with stage 2 hotcams, Hotrods crank, HMF Slip on, Bored 2 over (426cc) Stage 3 CDI and Coil. I just purchased a dynojet jet kit for stage 1 & 2. If anyone has a great set-up for this altitude and my upgrades please let me know. Thank you in advance.

What is a stage 2 crankshaft and what brand is it? I never heard of one.

AMR racing sells a stage 3 CDI - it simply removes the rev limiter and changes the advance curve slightly.

The big question is why did the engine seize? Moving to CO generally causes a slightly rich condition and a loss of power due to a too rich condition - too rich seldoms causes a seizure. Can't advise on jetting without knowing the cause of the seizure.

Depending on your altitude - above 5000ft above sea level, jet down one size and turn pilot screw in one turn - should be good to go
