    I just bought my first 400ex a little while ago and it is in great condition except I have a weird engine noise. It sounds like a knocking or something. It happens regularly. Usually around 3-6 seconds apart at idle. I can add a video tomorrow in order to help with ID-ing it.

    i have a 88 trx250x. i just got done rebuilding engine, new rings and gaskets and seals, i got it all backed together and torqed to specs. started it up and its got a really bad top end tick/knock. i tore it back apart and had the piston in backwards, put it all back together again! and it still...
