1986 TRX250 oil filter

Can someone tell me where the oil filter is & how to change it ?

Which 250 do you have? The TRX250R or the TRX250 Fourtrax?

RIGHT CRANKCASE COVER - 1986 Honda TRX250 FOURTRAX

#2 is the filter cover and #5 is the filter. That one is for the Fourtrax

Thank you very much. It is the TRX250 Fourtrax. I bought this new in 1986 and just use it mostly around the house. Never been in the woods. I must have lost the user manual. I remember the dealer telling me it had an oil filter but no more than I use it he said I would probably never change it. I change the oil (Mobil 1) every year but didn’t have a clue where the filter was. I think 23 years is long enough. This should be a breath of fresh air to my old fourtrax. Thanks again.
