Hi all. I'm Riaan from Botswana. I just got a Honda TRX 400 and need some advice. I did not get any Manuals with it. The bike starts but as soon as I rev it up it backfires and cant be ridden. As i'm in Botswana the recorses are bad.
Please help I want to go nail the Yamaha's. Thanks

If it backfires through the intake, it's a carb issue - if it backfires out the exhaust, it's an ignition issue - try a new spark plug first.

Got it sorted. The last owner broke the main jet off and did not tell me...

Yea it was sorted with a 2nd hand 172 main jet. I dont know if it is the right size but it works. The head, cams and valves had been done so from 1-4 I stay with the 660 raptor....
