According to the wiring diagram you do not have a brake light - only a tail light
The factory did install black and green connectors for an accessory connection, but black with a white stripe is the kill wire - touch it to ground and it will kill the spark (if it's factory wiring) - a solid black wire is hot when the key is on.
Thank you , I am reinstalling all stock factory wires from main harness to new cdi, rectifier , handle bar switch, key , ignition coil, solenoid all new. Now would that mean all blk striped wires on the harness elsewhere are also kill wires, also are grn striped wires ground I have an extra one in the front of the harness should I just ground it .
Green with white stripe at CDI unit goes to frame ground same as the green
Red is battery positive
Black is switched battery positive (hot when key is on)
Black with a white stripe is ignition kill (kills spark when connected to ground)
I have a 1996 Honda Fourtrax 200 Type 2, I am trying to replace the carburetor but the old cap to the carburetor won't come off the throttle cable. It seems as if it is crimped on, is there way take it off because it is not the same size on the new carburetor.
I messed up the threads on the end of my axle where the castleated hub nut goes on and I could easily recut the threads if I knew what size/pitch the threads on the end of the axle were.
What is the thread/pitch of the threads on the end of my axle
When i tested the resistance of the Bu/Y and ground it was 330 ohms, within spec. does that mean the pulse generator is good, or can it still be bad? I am not getting any voltage on a meter or test light.
Also where is the pulse generator?

By looking at the schematics in the manual, it looks like i have a Foreman but the plastics say 'Fourtrax'. I have 6 wires going to/ out of the cdi, including a yellow wire. Does this yellow, which is the forth yellow wire charge the capacitor in place of an exciter coil? Thanks.
