on the carb parts exploded view it is showing a small screen filter in the pic i didnt see this today as i was clean n rebuilding,on exploded view it is showing at the fuel intake line nipple.here below is link of parts view. the screen iam talking about is #36.

Also since this isnt my 1st carb. cleaning/rebuild I may have to break it down again to make sure i got thoroughly cleaned because it was nasty one of the worst ive seen out of 1000s of carbs ive done.

This little filter was used on 05 to 2013 TRX250TE, TM and X models. It usually comes out when the hose is pulled off and stays inside the hose (so most people never know it's there).

May i ask the purpose of the screen knowing there is a external filter.

Honda put the screen there to prevent dirt from getting into the float needle seat. Owners and inexperienced mechanics may not clean the hose (or vehicle) before servicing, therefore debris may enter the fuel system causing unexpected problems. Honda was just trying to outsmart the "shade-tree" mechanic.
