Hi there, just curious if anyone had any tips on tweaking a stock trx400. I like it quiet, so for now I dont want to run a pipe ect... Just curious if there were any uncork mods that needed to be done, Bike is 100% stock. Thanks for any input.

air filter, jets, iridium spark plug, put a qiuter pipe on it that adds a lot of power.

I changed the GEARING on my '05 TRX 400EX. It made a differance. One smaller on the front. 3 bigger on the rear. I have the STOCK muffler. Less Sound>=More Ground!

I also have a jet kit for it. But I have not installed it yet. It runs great now!
I will install a UNI-filter if I need to replace the stock foam. Nothing stops sand better than a oiled foam filter.
