I'm looking to buy a 300EX. I found a cheap one on Craigslist for $700. It's a 2003 Honda 300EX. Apparently it runs fine, and just needs piston rings replaced. Here is the guys exact words from his Craigslist ad.

I have a 2003 model 300ex for to trade or sell it is like new. The only thing is when we order some replacement rings, they was bad so it does need rings but it runs good just smokes. I would like to get 700 out of it

Here is pictures of what it looks like.

Do you think Piston Rings would be all it needs? If so, how much do you think Honda ATV would cost to fix it? Would it be worth the $700 he wants?
