im wanting to go a 426 bore just cause i feel the need for more HP. i want more compression than 11:1 but i also dont wanna run race fuel. Is this possible? if so can 1 run 12:5.1 on premium? if any of you are running this set up with a high comp piston please help.

To gain optimum performance from a high CR piston atleast 100 octane up to 107 is recommended. I run 100 Low lead aviation fuel simply because it's cleaner than pump fuel and less expensive than race fuel

so are you saying to run that fuel with 12:5.1 and higher?

i just need to know at what compression i have to start running race gas and stop running premium
