looking to buy a 450r but was told you have to replace the top end very frequently is this true or not?

I have been racing for 2 and a half years and I'm still on the original rings and everything. Take care of it and it will last.

Not true, keep oil and filters changed, clean the air filter everyride it will last a long time, i ride mine hard and have never had a top end failure.
