I think the hare scrambler would be fun. J do it now if you keep putting it off before you know it its too late. I think I will try one in 2010 that's if I get all my gear back together.

I was the same way. I raced dirt bikes for years out in AZ as a teenager. I bought the quad but had not raced in about 8-10 years. This past April I thought I would run one just for fun... now I'm back at it full bore.

Red I guess this would be a question for you. I have never run a hair scrambler what are some of the things I need to prepare for? I know I wont win but I just want to run one so I can say I did it. My son wants me to try it also.

1st thing you will need is a tether kill switch. So if you fall off the motor stops. Get familiar with a mx track. You don't need to be great on it but just be comfortable. Endurance, any one can ride fast for 10 minutes. Harescrambles are usually 1 hour long. They usually have a portion of mx with the majority being natural terrain. Usually dead motor start. Everyone has there quad shut off and when the flag is dropped you start your ride and go.

I have been working on the endurance part. Mx track that will be new on the ATV. We have a small local track I could check into. Thanks for the info.
No problem, be careful with stock suspension. Don't try to go big. Just get to the point where you can approach a face of a jump without being nervous. Just get to where you are comfortable out there.
