I have a 94 trx 300 fourtrax. when sitting in neutral it seems to have the power it should during revving and idle. When its in gear it lacks power through all the gears and as it gets warm the exhaust starts to glow cherry red. Where do I start my diagnosis?

Is the exhaust plugged up with mud or something? sounds like a severe restriction!

Carb is lean - check for a vacuum leak, clean the carb and check the jetting
