Either the float bowl vent hose or the rear brake panel vent hose - hard to say from hereone more question, I saw this when I was routing the new brake cable. there was a tube going from the top port of the diaphragm and ran and ended in the steering column bracket...this is not the case according to this diagram...any thought on where this should be hooked up to?...thanks
Based on the color coded diagram, where does hose 30 go on the quad? I believe its a vacuum hose but I don't know if it hangs loose or connects somewhere. It came out when i was cleaning the carb. Any help would be great, thanks -AnthonyHose Routing

Hose 30 is the drain hose for the float bowl - it just drops down and dangles below the engine so over flow or when the carb is drained the wasted fuel simply does not land on top of the engine.Based on the color coded diagram, where does hose 30 go on the quad? Awesome, thanks budHose 30 is the drain hose for the float bowl - it just drops down and dangles below the engine so over flow or when the carb is drained the wasted fuel simply does not land on top of the engine.
Where does hose 21 go to? Comes off carb and does it just lay open by gas tank?Look at the color coded pic - in the Honda manual pic, the vent port is not shown as having a hose on it, but in the color coded pic, the vent hose is shown - if you still have a question, I need a pic of the carb and the port in question
I’m talking about the hose that come out right next to the choke arm ,It is a vent line for the carb float bowl - on some models it was TEE'd in with the float bowl drain hoes and is supposed to ultimately just go behind the engine to dangle below the bash pan so any spillage would drip harmlessly on the ground. TEEing the two lines together saves a few inches of hose - so on some there were two hoses dangling below the vehicle and on others only one hose dangling.
Yes - hose 21 is put on the nipple on the side of the carb next to the choke arm - it can either be long enough to travel to below the engine, or kept high along the frame turning down at some point to help keep water out.I’m talking about the hose that come out right next to the choke arm ,
