I just bought me first ATV. its a 1999 but has been sitting and only has 300 miles on it.
It runs but has issues. My question... Does the 450 ES Forman have the same Carb. issues that many Honda's have that if you let them sit with fuel in them you need to take them in and have the Carb gone through. Or is there a was I can deal eith it?

Can't limit it to Honda's - all makes with carbs have the same problem - unless extraordinary steps were taken prior to storage, the carb will need to be cleaned, the fuel tank flushed, the oil changed and other maintenance before running the vehicle - mileage is not the issue, it's the age

Give it a good cleaning with fresh new gas, oil, filter, fuel line, etc. and it should be back to life again. Update us with your progress.
