bought my trx400x back in january rode it almost everyday just yesterday herd a grinding /scraping had to ride home bout 2 miles swingarm and axel was hot as heck after looking it is the bearing . shoudl they go this soon ????

Depending on how you ride (straight line, banked turns, flat turns, big jumps) yeah this is pretty much normal. The bearings are only about 8 inches apart and the axle is about 4 feet wide. There is a tremendous load on the bearings even when running flat. Land on one wheel when jumping and the load can be great enough to split the bearing race. Changing to a roller bearing carrier will help, but changing riding habits will help more.
