just had my front shocks out and noticed the lower bearing was bad the needles fell right out and were all rusty......when i get the new ones do they really need to be pressed in or can i put them in myself
im going to pick up the bearings now they do come intact, they were a bitch to get out im just hoping i can get them back in without at press.....i found the bearings at a bearing store so i didnt have to go throught honda there cheaper and better
thanks for the help guys....the bearing place told me they were special bearings and he didnt have them so i went to pompton honda near me and happen to notice the 400ex bearing were identical to my 450r wich they told me they had to order and couldnt get until next tuesday and after doing a complete piston, rings and top end i realy didnt wanna wait so i had the mechanic pull out a micrometer and turns out the 400ex bearings are identical but not labeled so.....but anyways everything turned out well and im finally all finished and ready to ride and prepare for unadilla.....thanks again
