Are you sure it is an FE7? All I could find was an FE2. Please include the VIN when seeking parts - it tells all

If it is an FE2, the same PGM-FI unit was used on these machines:
2009 Honda ATV TRX420FE 2A RANCHER ES (CAMO)
2009 Honda ATV TRX420FE A RANCHER ES
2009 Honda ATV TRX420FPE 2A RANCHER ES (CAMO)
2009 Honda ATV TRX420FPE A RANCHER ES
2009 Honda ATV TRX420TE A RANCHER ES
2010 Honda ATV TRX420FE A RANCHER 420ES 4X4
2010 Honda ATV TRX420FPE A RANCHER ES
2010 Honda ATV TRX420TE A RANCHER ES
2011 Honda ATV TRX420FE 2A Rancher 420 ES 4x4 (CAMO)
2011 Honda ATV TRX420FE A Rancher 420 ES 4x4
2011 Honda ATV TRX420FPE 2A Rancher 420 ES EPS 4x4 (CAMO)
2011 Honda ATV TRX420FPE A Rancher 420 ES EPS 4x4
2011 Honda ATV TRX420TE A Fourtrax Rancher Es
2012 Honda ATV TRX420FE 2A Rancher 420 ES 4x4 (CAMO)
2012 Honda ATV TRX420FE A Rancher 420 ES 4x4
2012 Honda ATV TRX420FPE 2A Rancher 420 ES EPS 4x4 (CAMO)
2012 Honda ATV TRX420FPE A Rancher 420 ES EPS 4x4
2012 Honda ATV TRX420TE A Rancher 420 ES 2x4
2013 Honda ATV TRX420FE 2A Rancher 420 ES 4x4 (Camo)
2013 Honda ATV TRX420FE AC Rancher 420 ES 4x4
2013 Honda ATV TRX420FPE 2A Rancher 420 ES EPS 4x4 (Camo)
2013 Honda ATV TRX420FPE AC Rancher 420 ES EPS 4x4
2013 Honda ATV TRX420TE AC Rancher 420 ES 2x4

The 2007-2008 FE used a different unit and it fit these machines:
2007 Honda ATV TRX420FE Rancher 420 ES 4x4
2007 Honda ATV TRX420FE2 Rancher 420 ES 4x4 (Natural Camo)
2007 Honda ATV TRX420TE Rancher 420 ES
2008 Honda ATV TRX420FE Rancher 420 ES 4x4 (Natural Camo)
2008 Honda ATV TRX420FE Rancher 420 ES 4x4
2008 Honda ATV TRX420TE Rancher 420 ES

Sorry, that part number is not in the Honda parts system - not for the U.S. anyway

What is the VIN of the vehicle - found on the title and on the cross member on the front of the vehicle
Hi there, I don't have a vin number on my bike as the frame is very rusty, well I can't find it! I am in Scotland so that could be why you can't find it. But it does say on a sticker on the frame beside the shock absorber that it is from Honda of south Carolina. Regards Brian

Brian,
U.S. spec and European spec machines are different and use different parts. I can't get anybody at Honda who knows (at least they're not telling) what the differences are. Yeah, South Carolina is a big ATV plant and they build them for everybody.

This reminds me of .......... Back in 2004 I wanted to get a different race bike. I had been riding an XR250R. A friend of mine had an electric start KTM. I started looking and bought an 04 CRF250X. I've still got that bike and will probably ride it till I die (I'm 64). I might not be fast, but I still enjoy riding races (somebody has to come in last).

I found out later that Honda had an electric start XR250 in 2004, but it was only sold in Mexico and other countries. NO U.S. model - if that bike had been offered in the U.S., no doubt I would be riding an air cooled 250 in the 50 year old class, but in retrospect, the CR was lighter and faster and I love that bike - it fits me well.

You will have to probably limit your search for that CDI to the European community.
