If the engine is reving to the rev limiter and the vehicle has not accelerated beyond a certain MPH, the problem is probably a bad clutch, bad clutch cable or the wrong oil in the engine/transmission.

honda trx 400x 2014 problems
hey i have a honda trx 400x 2014 does anybody kno what the problem could be i hit 5th gear and the four wheeler is supposed to top out at 72 and i cant even get passed 45 barley and then im hitting rev limiter does anybody kno what this problem could be i need to kno now!!!!

do you think i need to maybe just ajust the clutch because it is kinda loose the lever is kinda looseok thank you so much ill let you kno if it works ill buy a new cable
Clutch is a problem when the cable is too tight or if is does not return freely - a good cable will move through the sheath under it's own weight.
