I have an 07 400EX and I have a Pro Design killswitch, and the installation instructions are useless. Has anyone ever installed one on a 400EX? I still have the electric start, and want to keep the use of my key. It is a normally open circut I think.

Take the positive wire on the kill switch and splice it in to the black and yellow positive coil wire and just ground the ground wire to ur frame

Wire the new switch to the black/white wire and the green wire going to the key switch. The key switch has 4 wires - red, black, black/white and green. Red is positive, green is ground, black becomes hot (positive) when the switch is turned on, black and white is ignition, the ignition wire is connected to ground when the switch is turned to the off position.
