Hi there, just joined the forum tonight. I have an 84 TRX 200, I have had since brand new. My parents bought it for me when I was 11. It needs some work, hasn't ran in years. I hope to get some useful information from you all.
I have never been into mechanics of any sort so this is going to be interesting. I still have the original shop manual I purchased with my allowance many many years ago. I expect that it will get a lot of use.
Anyways just wanted to say hi from Winnipeg MB.

Welcome to the forum. Becoming a mechanic can be fun and exasperating. I'm sure the members here will be willing to guide you as much as possible.

I'm Steve, I have been a mechanic for nearly 50 years, have a degree in electronics and have operated an independent repair shop for over 30 years. I have experience on Indians, Bridgestones, Zundapps and all the newer models. Not too many problems baffle me, but there is only so much that can be done through cyberspace.
