[Hunted 400ex]

Rebuilt 400ex. Completely..now everything hooked up. No spark.no power at coil. Power every where else.any suggestions.

Yes - you need to study the ignition system

The is no power to the coil until the crankshaft spins - it a magneto - if no spark, the first thing to do is disconnect the kill wire from the CDI unit - the black wire with the whit stripe is the kill wire - connect it to ground and no spark - if the kill wire is not grounded, then you have to get a peak voltage tester to troubleshoot the ignition system - let me know when you have a peak voltage tester and I'll instruct you how to trouble shoot the system

I could really use ur help diagnosing my 400ex no spark I do have a peak voltage tester

OK - first disconnect the blk/wht wire from the CDI unit

I did that and still have no spark

Replace the stator if it does not have the correct peak voltage outputs

I was getting 47 volt out of stator so I replaced it and now I get like 65 volt but the book says it should be 100volts minimum. And I still have no spark

Are you measuring peak voltage or average voltage

I'm measuring max peak voltage

I think I'm using the proper setting on the dmm
This is the meter I have and it has max peak voltage

You may have weak magnets in the flywheel

Ok I already ordered a new flywheel should be here this weekend I will throw it in and let u no thank u for u help it's very much appreciated
