I bent the heck out of the stock handle bars on my 2005 TRX400EX.
Looking at a parts fiche, I see bar weights are used. I have two questions,
1) Are the bar end weights really needed?

2) Other than Honda $71.00 plus freight. Who makes a replacement handle bar and, will it also require bar weights? I'm looking for O.E.M. quality, nothing fancy.

Lots of choices here - it's a matter of personal preference

The bar weights are to reduce vibration on the ends of the bars - aluminum bars do not necessarily need the weights

I like Renthal 7/8 aluminum - I have friends that like the TwinWall or FatBars - I used to use Tag, have tried Fly and a brand that Nichols Motorcycle Supply sold (Nichols is out of business) - I got Tag through White Brothers, they are out of business also - I thinh you will like any brand of aluminum bar on the market, but I caution against using the cheapest - spend between $75 and $120 for a good set of bars and give 'em a try

For OEM quality - any brand of $20 bars will fill the bill
