Hello everyone, I've just picked up a 2007 trx250ex that has a metallic knock in the lower part of the engine, my gut tells me that this is a rod bearing failure as it has enough compression to run. does anyone have any thoughts on this, and also can anyone tell me of a site I can go to todownload a free repair manual for this machine? any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

No free manual but a cheap one at DOWNLOAD: Trx250ex
If it is a rod bearing you will need to replace the crankshaft along with many other parts. Good luck
