I am not positive but it seems after only 10-15 minutes of running my machine it seems to run smoother and idle better AND have a bit better bottom end, I will know tomorrow for sure when it is cold again if it helped with my cough/stall idle situation also.

Ive never used it. Let us know how it goes tomorrow. Ive always used seafoam and had great results from it.

I heard about seafoam just recently but saw this at a ATV store, supposedly it works better then seafoam...

Quote from link I supplied .. " I've tried just about all the BIG name brands - SAYBIL / SEAFOAM / TECHRON and all have failed misserably in terms of keeping corrosion/build-up on the sensitive sender leads...or FIXING them"

Yep, let ya know tomorrow the cold start outcome ;)

33 degrees out, started much easier for sure BUT you still must jack idle up so it won't cough/stall, as long as you do that it stays running which it would not before UNTIL after 10 minutes or so.

I want to get it though where you don't have to dick with idle although a lot of Hondas that I had were always that way too and not sure if it will always be the 400's personality to do so since I am not real used to it yet, only members on here that had their machines for a while and in cold can tell me that.

I wish Honda would have had the idle screw out where hand could reach and it would be a knob so it woiuld be a no tool issue for adjustment, wonder if I could modify that somehow to do that, IF of course I really need to?

Still need to check the valves (on both machines) yet too.

I hear it outside now still running and that has been 15 minutes now.

I have the "luxury" of comparing it to the stock jetted machine which I will do tomorrow maybe, that one I* want to drain the gas 1st (may be really old, who knows?) and try it with out additive one morn, then with it the next and will update again on here.
