Sounds like the starter brushes are giong bad. First, check the battery, solenoid and ground connections. Then the next time it goes "click", hold the starter button down and tap the starter motor with a hammer or screwdriver handle. If it suddenly starts, then its the brushes. Good luck
Appreciate the help. The starter problem is on a Foreman TRX 5ooFM 2006. Got new brush and started taking a closer look at the starter and don't see an how to remove the starter. Rather than make work looking for the right way.
